Hi
Does anyone have experience with Wistia and does it still hold try embedding a video from Wistia is better for SEO?
Or is there no difference with this compared with YouTube if embedding a product video on your product page?

As Joseph mentioned, Wistia and YouTube are two very different platforms with different goals. There are times when using both is a great strategy! So it depends on the goals you've set.
YouTube is an entire platform you can build on to increase brand awareness, revenue, and get your name out there. Some businesses/marketers entire strategy is within the YouTube world.
Wistia is geared towards making sure any on-site videos is as ideal as can be.
So, if you are just focused on creating videos to enhance your product pages, Wistia is a great option. However, if you wanted to create videos showing off your products in a unique way and build an audience/following outside of just your site, YouTube would be your best bet.

I believe that depends on your goal, Wistia injects a structured data that helps crawler better understanding and index your video, it also provides more marketing options such as email opt-in when playing the video.
If your goal is to grow your youtube channel, then youtube might be the right option for you, as it offers more channel for the user to reach you on youtube.

Allow Embedding on a YouTube but Only for Specific Sites
Hello, This is more of a technical question but does anyone know if it’s possible to allow embedding on YouTube videos only for specific sites? We want to restrict embedding on our videos but still be able to embed them on our domain. I’m already listed as the primary owner and have the channel linked to my personal email (same email used to upload videos) but when I go to the below link mentioned on Google's Page for Restrict Embedding (https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/6301625) it says I don’t have permission to access that page for both my personal account and channel. The documentation states it's possible to "Block embedding on all sites or apps except for those URLs or app package names you enter in the text box." but I can't seem to find it. I can only find the option to turn it off/on completely. https://www.youtube.com/content_owner_settings I noticed my personal email hasn't been verified; would that make a difference here? Any help or insight on how to approach this would be very much appreciated. Looking forward to hearing from all of you!

Is anyone aware about a tool that can be used for tracking YouTube video ranking on SERP & YouTube?
I am looking for a tool that can track ranking position of a YouTube video on SERP and YouTube. An example would be, Suppose I have a video X. I want to know the position of the video for keywords A,B,C on SERP and YouTube. Do let me know your inputs.

SEO for video content that is duplicated accross a larger network
I have a website with lots of content (high quality video clips for a particular niche). All the content gets fed out 100+ other sites on various domains/subdomains which are reskinned for a given city. So the content on these other sites is 100% duplicate. I still want to generate SEO traffic though. So my thought is that we: a) need to have canonical tags from all the other domains/subdomains that point back to the original post on the main site b) probably need to disallow search engine crawlers on all the other domains/subdomains Is this on the right track? Missing anything important related to duplicate content? The idea is that after we get search engines crawling the content correctly, from there we'd use the IP address to redirect the visitor to the best suited domain/subdomain. any thoughts on that approach? '?q=:new&sort=new' URL parameters help...
Hey guys, I have these types of URLs being crawled and picked up on by MOZ but they are not visible to my users. The URLs are all 'hidden' from users as they are basically category pages that have no stock, however MOZ is crawling them and I dont understand how they are getting picked up as 'duplicate content'. Anyone have any info on this? http://www.example.ch/de/example/marken/brand/make-up/c/Cat_Perso_Brand_3?q=:new&sort=new Even if I understood the technicality behind it then I could try and fix it if need be. Moving hosting to another company/server . What about SEO?
Hi, We have been experiencing issues with our hosting company and want to move the hosting to someone else. One problem was that we did Isapi rewrite rule but the company moved to mod rewrite and they never adjusted the rewrite rules. We are considering a move to another hosting company - would that hurt rankings? Are there any SEO considerations to think about when switching to another host?

Is Q&A on a website good or bad for SEO?
I am considering adding a Q&A section to my website and I have a few questions for you PROs!: is it a good thing for SEO? Or a potential pitfall for SEO? If it is used often and users post relevant topics related to the website content, will it help the overall DA and websites SERP performance? Are there inherent risks for website security when using a Q&A? Are there any other questions I should be asking? I am using Joomla! 3.0 with Stackideas Easy discuss/easy social. What's the Best Host For WordPress sites
Our site has gone down twice in a week...hosted by Fat Cow. So we're going to switch hosts this week. We currently have 2 WP sites on a Fat Cow VPS. 8 GB file size and 2 GB data transfer monthly. We use a CDN and video hosting company (Wistia) so the file sizes are small. I've contacted several hosts and narrowed it down to WP Engine, Rack Space and A Small Orange. I care about fast page load time (1 second), 99.999% up-time and great support. Price is a secondary concern. I'm leaning towards WP Engine, but wanted to ask Moz community before making a decision. Any other hosting companies I should call?

How many articles should I write per day & how many backlinks should I get per day to be natural!
hey.. I"m working in review blog one day per 1 or 2 weeks and I post up to 6 articles one time; is it unnatural for SEO ? how many articles should I post in blog per day? another question..how many backlinks should I get to just one post? I'm using Magic Submitter software to get help but I don't get more than 50 backlinks one time..what's real number of backlinks should I get and for how much time to be 100% natural for Google? any helpful info about backlinks techniques worth to hear..thnx
