If you Google - "San Diego DUI Lawyer" (a competitive term), this guys site comes up: sandiegoduiattorneys.weebly.com/san-diego-dui-lawyer.html Run his site in Opensite Explorer and you won't believe the results.  This guy somehow has as much domain authority as Facebook, and maybe more than Moz.  How is this possible? How is he getting all those links from random Weebly sites?  I'm not saying I want to copy him, but I think it's highly problematic that somehow that site has been rigged to get all that link juice. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hi, How many directory links do you tend to build in 1 month? And what do you look for in a directories before you submit? I could build 2 links a day from directories but the thought of 60 links being built a month from directories shouts bad news to me. I've had a look and come across a few directories with high DA/PA but at the end of the day they are just link directories, no content, lots of thin pages with lots of links pointing out. A couple of examples of good directories would help. Cheers

And the PR quote, does relevance come above PR/DA/PA? Thoughts?

I have a site where my homepage is a PR3. My main menu contains 6 links which are all PR1's. Example: Homepage, link1,link2,link3,link4,link5,link6 I have figured a way to make things easier for my users by combining 3 of those 6 links to my home page. So basically link1,link2 and link4 will now point to my homepage where it will contain the content and tools all in one. I will do the proper redirects on those links to point to my homepage again so google knows I moved them. My question is by moving 3 PR1 pages to my home page which is a PR3 will this increase my pagerank for my home page?

We're having a bit of a debate in the office today about SEO directories. We all seem to have our favourites here - Octopedia, AbiLogic and JoeAnt to name a few that have been mentioned. Just wondering what everyone else's favourite directories for SEO are? Which pass the best link juice? Which offer the best value for money? Would love to know everyone's thoughts...

Our home page pagerank dropped from 4 to 3. nlpca(dot)com What are the possible things that could cause this?

I was hit by Google’s latest Page Rank update.  I know “don’t be obsessed with Page Rank”, but it concerns me.  I thought that I was developing a very good link profile and actually was hopeful that it would go to a PR-5 and it dropped to a PR-3.  www.simply-bags.com I have another site www.keepsakes-etc.com and have done very little link building and it also dropped to a PR-3. Can anyone give me some honest feedback about my concern?
