Use of Keywords throughout articles

Hi everyone,
I have another (very basic) question! It's about the use of keywords throughout articles - is it worthwhile putting keywords and associated phrases in bold and italic and also underlining them at various points throughout my website articles? I have read that this helps google to know what the article is about.
Any comments would be much appreciated!

Hey Claire, I am the owner of an SEO company here in Kansas City and have been in the SEO field for over 5 years. My advice on this is to not overdo it when it comes to using bolds, italics, underlines, etc, BUT it does impact SEO positively if used appropriately and not in excess. It's hard to give a solid rule of thumb when adding bolds etc, but we try to only utilize each type of typographical emphasis only once or twice on a page.
This is something that is worth a test, especially if your content is already long and well-written! Add a couple bolds, italics, or underlines in phrases that contain the keyword or related keywords you are trying to rank the page for a see what it does to your rankings. We have seen this give Google rankings a minor boost to multiple clients website, but a boost nonetheless!

That sounds like old SEO tactics to me- best thing you can do is use the keywords naturally within the text. If you're trying to shoehorn them in or if you're trying to draw too much attention to them, you're probably doing it wrong.
To answer your question- no, underlining or bolding words doesn't have an SEO benefit!

Google+ SERP Visibility For Non Branded Keywords
Hi, I've noticed that a competitors Google+ box is appearing on the right hand side of the Google UK SERPs for a non-branded keyword (open air balustrade). Please see attached image. I've always thought that the Google+ box would only be displayed in the SERPS for branded keywords. How is this Google+ box appearing for non-branded keywords? What do you guys use to answer questions?

Can i use the same keyword or similar keyword on title tag of multiple page ?
Greetings support, I would like to know if i can use similar keywords into my index title tag and than the similar keyword into the title tag of another page from the same site. Example:The site selling ''Dubai Apartments'' ''Dubai Vacation Rentals'' ''Dubai Holiday Apartments'' and ''Dubai Accommodation'' and would like to rank the index page for ''Dubai City Apartments'' and ''Dubai Accommodation'' and the category page /apartments/ for ''Dubai Apartments'' Is this ok ? because I do not want to lose the rank for the index page because it's already higher for ''Dubai City Apartments'' and ''Dubai Apartments'' I also have use this title tag on the home page: Dubai City Apartments | Dubai Accommodation | sitename brand and than i have category page such: /apartments/ title Dubai Apartments | Dubai Apartment Rentals | brandname /vacation-rentals/ title Dubai Vacation Rentals | Holiday Rentals Dubai | brandname /holiday-apartments/ Dubai Holiday Apartments | Dubai Vacation Apartments | brandname P.S. Google auto-correct affecting one of my keywords
Hi there, I have a keyword "finao montreal" that used to rank 8 or 9 in Google serp. All of a sudden it dropped under the top 50 results, I was wondering why and I found out that Google now auto-corrects "finao montreal" to "final montreal". Finao is a well know brand of custom high-end photo albums and I find it strange that Google corrects it. Anyone has an idea on what to do with this situation? Is there a way to provide Google some feedback about the autocorrect?

Should I submit my articles to article submition sites myself or have a service submit my articles for me?
It seems that articles I've written about the transmission industry and submitted aren't being noticed by Google. The sites I've submitted them to were free sites, so my question is should I pay to submit them, or pay a service to submit them for me? Or, should I just continue to submit them myself to as high a ranking site as I can find?

Benefit of Historical PDF Press Articles for SEO
Hello Is there SEO benefit to keep PDF news articles from 2/3 years ago live on our website? We have a page displaying positive press/pr articles to our visitors. Some of the articles are now from 2009 and I am unsure if these should remain for SEO benefit or should they be taken down or archived? Are they good content? Are they read by Search Engines?
