I'm new to MOZ and thought I'd try it out free for 30 days, knuckle down and fix any issues with my website since I only set it up in January and want to keep it in tip top condition and try to get it ranking. Well, I made my way through each page and fixed everything and then I come to in the inbound links/domains and my eyes turn into saucers and I almost fall off my chair.

I have 1 inbound link with a spam score of 78% from a site named "Nitter". How on earth do I get rid of this and what the heck is "Nitter"?!

@millieandtilly Make good use of links.
Links are a key component of your SEO, as we teach in our SEO Masterclass, and it's critical that you get them correctly. Here are three things to keep in mind when it comes to spam signals: When it comes to employing links, the keyword is 'natural.' It makes sense to connect to sources when discussing facts or utilizing statistics, for example, if you're talking about SEO (as we are here). It's also a good idea to double-check that you've linked to a high-quality, authoritative site.

It's also normal that if your website just has 10,000 words, you'll only have 10-50 links. However, if you have 100,000 words, you may only have 100-500 words.

@millieandtilly Good morning! I don't know much about Nitter other than that it is a Twitter alternative. I recommend you read Tom Capper's recent tutorial on disavowing links to learn more about what to do with links you've received that you don't want: https://moz.com/blog/when-to-disavow-links

Should I switch back to my old domain?

domain analysis domain authority domain migration domain

I'm looking for some advice on switching domains for my survey/giveaway website.
I purchased a website that gets around 1,500 in traffic and makes a few hundred in Adsense. The previous owner had rebranded the site and changed the domain which ended up hurting his SEO and traffic. Before that it was getting 10,000 in traffic on the old domain.
It's been a few years since the rebrand but the original domain still holds a lot of authority and got way more traffic. Should I consider switching the website back to the original domain to try to improve rankings again or should I just focus on the new domain?
The website now is snipon.com and the previous domain name was surveyh.com
I'm wondering if switching back to the original domain will still be beneficial or if it will just mess up what's happening now on the rebranded site.

Yes, the entire country is changing, but even more so in our once little nook. As a Realtor, I am out in the community and I hear a number of concerns about our community and the transitions that lie ahead. Concerns about housing, schooling, infrastructure even the changing job market.

My site DA did not increase even I built huge high-quality backlinks

domain authority link building link explorer

I have created a lot of high DA backlinks for my website for 3 months. But the DA of my site is still less than 40 and it has not changed for 2 months. Why does my site DA stop increasing as I build huge backlinks? How and when Moz will update the DA score? Are there any other ways to increase DA? My site: CouponBirds

Hi, everyone. I want to know if you know any way to get DA & PA metrics with any software (not Netpeak Checker please, is very low) or any add-on for Google Sheet or Microsoft Excel (like Majestic has for Google Sheets). Up today any software works always and sometimes the results are not really. Please, team of MOZ and Community, help me. And team of MOZ, the SEOs around the world need a solution for this. We scrapped many domains every day for build our privates blogs networks and also for search opportunities for link our sites. Please, provide us anyway (software, tool in your suite, I don't know) for this essential function in the SEO World. Thanks!
