@s3leb disavowing links can take a lot of time to see results, if you have access to the links much better to remove them manually. Also you can increase high quality low spam links to override the existing ones as Google will ignore spam backlinks since last year's spam update.

Check your spam filter settings: Ensure that your spam filter is properly configured and not blocking legitimate emails. Adjust the sensitivity level if necessary.

Update your spam filter software: Make sure you have the latest version of your spam filter software installed. Updates often include improvements and adjustments to the spam detection algorithms.

Whitelist trusted senders: If you're consistently receiving legitimate emails in your spam folder, add the email addresses or domains to your whitelist or contacts list. This action helps your email client recognize these senders as safe.

Report false positives: If you come across legitimate emails in your spam folder, mark them as "not spam" or move them to your inbox. This feedback can help train the spam filter and improve its accuracy over time.

Contact your email service provider: If the issue persists, reach out to your email service provider's support team for assistance. They may be able to investigate the problem further or provide guidance on adjusting spam filter settings

              Plagiarized Site Effecting Google Rankings

seo rankings spam plagiarism duplicate content

Can someone provides insights on a de-indexing example? I have gone through the depths of Google lack of support and requesting duplicate content flags, so no avail. Here's the scenario: Client had a competing SEO provider try to earn his business. In doing so, he copied word for word our blog that we have been producing content on over the last 5 years. He also integrated Google reviews in the structured data on this new URL. Well, fast forward 1-2 months later, our rankings started to drop. We found this 100% plagiarized site is taking away from our keyword rankings on GMB, and is no and Google search, and our site GMB is now only displaying on a branded name search as well as our search traffic has dropped. I have identified the plagiarized, duplicated content, being tied to our GMB as well, as the source of the problem. Well, I finally obtain ed control of the plagarized domain and shut down the hosted, and forwarded the URL to our URL. Well, Google still has the HTTS version of the site indexed. And it is in my professional opinion, that since the site is still indexed and is associated with the physician GMB that was ranking for our target keyword and no longer does, that this is the barrier to ranking again. Since its the HTTPS version, it is not forwarded to our domain. Its a 504 error but is still ranking in the google index. The hosting and SSL was canceled circa December 10th. I have been waiting for Google to de-index this site, therefore allowing our primary site to climb the rankings and GMB rankings once again. But it has been 6 weeks and Google is still indexing this spam site. I am incredibly frustrated with google support (as a google partner) and disappointed that this spam site is still indexed. Again, my conclusion that when this SPAM site is de-indexed, we will return back to #1. But when? and at this point, ever? Highlighted below is the spam site. Any suggestions? Capture.PNG

Spam Score of 28-Cause for Concern?

In the last week domain authority for our site (www.nyc-officespace-leader.com) has increased from 21 to 31. We have been working on local SEO and making other improvements in the last month. I have noticed that our spam score is now 28. I believe it was much lower in the past. Should we be concerned about incurring a Google penaltyY How likely is this with a spam score of 28? What actions should we take? Also, we will be migrating the site to a new domain early this week. Can we use the domain migration as an opportunity to remove links from pammy domains? Will the removal of link from spammy domains increase or decrease our domain authority? Thanks, Alan

How spam score will be calculated for the domain without any content or backlinks?

Hi Moz team, I have noticed that one of our old domain has high spam score of 9. This has been redirected to our domain around 2 years back. I can see that old domain doesn't have any back links. Then how come the spam score have been calculated for this? If there is any metric for this, we just wanna remove redirecting this spammy old domain to our domain. Please clarify. Thanks

If for few links the spam score is not discovered, then what is the possibility of risks for those links?

For one of the links, I was checking the domain authority and spam score for which the domain authority was 65 and spam score was not discovered. In such links how do I assume or what are the chances of risks with these links?
