Structured data is a standardized format of code that is added to a web page. It communicates specific information about a page to Google. This makes it easier for search engines to crawl and index your content faster. In other words, it provides the context search engines need to properly categorize your site and recommend it more accurately for relevant search queries.

Google is using this data to make their search engine more accurate by creating a knowledge graph. This graph is an interconnected map of entities that follows the relationship between different terms, facts, data, dates, and more. This allows Google to go from keyword matching to a context-rich search engine, capable of differentiating the Taj Mahal monument from the Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City.

What it means for SEOs is that Google has given you a way to introduce your client’s brands and companies into their knowledge graph, making them real objects Google knows about and can recommend to users. Check out our guide on how to implement structured data on your site, including the recommended structured data format for SEO here: https://prerender.io/structured-data-for-seo/.

Yes, i'm agree with Martijn Scheijbeler. He is saying absolutely right. I'm using structured data on homepage in my Best Office Chairs site. And it is good for site health. You should try to use structured data on homepage.

Not necessarily, what you can do is point the rest of the pages to the LocalBusiness structured data that is just on your homepage for example. That way it saves you from loading additional markup on every other page. Other Structured Data markup that I would always look into is BreadCrumbList, Organization, Website, WebPage, ItemList as most sites qualify easily for those.

markup schema markup structured data product

Hi, I am working on a site that presents several products with their descriptions and features, but does not include e-commerce functionality, so it does not show prices. I would be interested in understanding how to properly use the Product markup since the Offer field cannot be filled in. What are your experiences or advice on how best to handle this? Do you have advice on different vocabularies to Product? Thank you very much for your help!

Anyone come accross a completely random site name displayed in the SERPs?

                  serp features structured data

Hello SEO friends, I am looking at a site that has a completely random site name displayed in the serps. The site in question is a hypnotherapy service and the site name is displaying as a commercial cargo airline! See the screen shot. Any ideas? There is 'local business' structured data on the site and it IS showing the correct business name. Is this a hack? Negative SEO attack? Random Google stuff up? Help! Very confused! Thank you for any advice! Sean!Untitled.jpg

                  structured data breadcrumblist breadcrumbs

Hello, I would like to update the google search rich results for our website using breadcrumblist structured data. I followed google guidelines on how to get this done and even tested it using the Rich Results test but non of the changes I made show up in google search.
Is anyone able to provide assistance with this process?

Schema Markup Validator vs. Rich Results Test

                  schema structured data

I am working on a schema markup project. When I test the schema code in the Schema Markup Validator, everything looks fine, no errors detected. However, when I test it in the Rich Results Test, a few errors come back.
What is the difference between these two tests? Should I trust one over the other?

We're merging 2 separate websites into 1 but need to ideally rank service pages for both locations

I have a dilemma, we're merging 2 websites, one an Australian branch and one a UK one. We've decided to have a UK page and a AUS page so agency.site/uk/ agency.site/aus/ but what is the best tactic for the service pages? ideally, we'd like a web-design service page to rank in Australia and the UK but not sure if this is actually possible, or whether to duplicate the pages and localise them i.e. /web-design-leeds/ and /web-design-melbourne/  What's everyone's thoughts on this? localised landing pages with some duplicate content or one master page with both locations mentioned? Thanks!

Feedback to what to offer to my clients on my SEO website - local to Boise ID

Hi, I'm targeting Boise, Idaho and building an SEO consulting website. Right now I only offer 3 things because that's what I have experience in: 1. On-site SEO 2. Content Audit 3. Start a company from scratch. Ecommerce, Service, or Informational I know #3 involves all SEO, so it will be challenging, but 1-3 is what I've been doing for 10 years. What feedback do you have as far as 1-3 being my 3 offers, and is $200/hour fair? I work off quotes by estimating my time at $200/hour. Thanks.
