If I were to spin up a new site what do people recommend as the best template, services, etc.

Do you have an example of the perfect structure, I want to point my team to an example page and say - This is perfect, do this but for our product (structure, content amount, etc)

      Thank you,

Hi, so we used Avada WordPress, we think it's amazing, we used it for our SEO business.

I recommend this page where you can find a lot of templates for woocomerce. They are pretty good and have good seo structure and logically are paid:

          https://themeforest.net/popular_item/by_category?category=wordpress%2Fecommerce%2Fwoocommerce

I don't know exactly what you want it for: service, product, online business, offline, etc. If it exceeds exactly the web you want to create, it could be more specific.

Ok great, we are currently using WordPress and woo commerce.

Does anyone have any examples of near perfect SEO product pages for online products/e- commerce. I want my team to use it as a template example. "look here copy this but put our content in"

Wordpress and Woocomerce and similar, are not platforms that start from scratch, but they do not bring it all-inclusive either.

You will have to work to manually implement all the products to make it to your needs. Each case is unique and as much as there is something similar to what you are looking for, you will have to customize it.

Anyway, nowadays any platform (Joomla, Wordpress, etc.) are good for SEO in a structural way to how search engines track it.

It already depends on each one's abilities to personalize and optimize the structure and content. The idea is to stand out from the competition. And if it is a saturated niche, this is really very difficult.

              I hope I've helped.

Apologies, online product (reseller), yes taking orders online, enough technical skills to build a site and implement via things like WordPress, etc. Would want to leverage platforms & products vs. build from scratch.

                Thanks!

We're going to need some more information to be able to give you better advice. Right now, this question is similar to asking "what is the best car?" without saying if you need to carry building supplies or ten people or need to tow a trailer.

What product do you sell? Is it a virtual product, or physical product? Do you take orders online? What technical knowledge does your team have? This will help us guide you towards something that better meets your needs.

Best structure for a news website including main menu nav

Just looking for thoughts and opinions on the best way to set up the main nav on a news website that covers a specific professional services sector. There are news items, archived news, blog, events, but also main menu links to the numerous news categories that go to a page listing the news articles under that category (as created in Wordpress when publishing the article). I'm thinking that having these off the main nav is diluting the juice to the more important pages including the events and the news page? Just thinking about how to rearrange and consolidate. Any thoughts on how people would structure something like this?

Need Professional Help with Site Structure, Page Authority, and Internal Linking

We are a 10 year + small (1000 pages) niche ecommerce site (Magento) that has recently lost rankings to a competitor. We out perform them in every metric so I do not understand them leap frogging us to the top spot. This has forced me to look at my site structure, page authority (rank), and internal linking. After reviewing a moz crawl issues report, here are some of my observations: Root domain has a PA of 40 Top 3 $ Category pages have a PA of 22, 18, 18 Multiple meaningless blog posts and other category/product pages have PA’s of 30+ Here is a screenshot of the crawl report with internal links, links, etc showing. I need some help - thoughts, suggestions, next steps in analysis?

                    A good SEO praxis?

Hi all, having a worpress site with 10 DIFFERENT pages (each with its own different content) and consequently 10 DIFFERENT keywords to optimize......Can somehow Google penalize me for having such a number of different keyowrds? I guess sometimes there no way to avoid it. It depends on the content of each page. You'll need a keyword to optimize them (if you consider they are relevant enough). Thanks.

                    Flickr v. On-Site Images

My apologies in that I have searched for this, have seen discussions on it and haven't seen a definitive answer on the question of hosting & displaying on-domain images v. using a source like flickr to host all of your images. I have a client that is mostly a local search play in a very tourism heavy area. I'm investigating this option for a few reasons. 1. Ease of use. The new flickr app is brilliant. So if he's out giving a tour, takes a picture, it can be seamlessly integrated to his account & then shot off to all of his portals (website, facebook, twitter, etc.). It's a small client & he's not tech savvy, so this option suits him very well. 2. SEO. With all of the tagging, geo components, and it playing nice with Google Images search, I thought this was a viable option in hosting the majority of his on-site images. I've seen opinions on this before. But I was wondering if there any further opinions on the subject. Not sure if there's anything 'definitive', but any help or insight would be appreciated.

                    Internal linking best practice

See example: car rental - sedans - bmw car rental - sedans - audi car rental - sedans - ford (internal links to sedans - audi, ford) or (internal links to suv - bmw) car rental - suv - bmw car rental - suv - audi car rental - suv - ford (internal links to suv- audi, ford) or (internal links to sedans- bmw...) Should I cross link only between the product page under each category or can I link between different products under different categories? From a user point of view, I think it will give him more options if he wants to choose the same brand but a bigger vehicle although I have read numerous posts saying that we should be internally linking most of the time within the same category. User experience or SEO?

                    SEO Titles and Keyword Density

Hey guys, I'm doing some on page SEO for a few clients and I've always wondered about this question. I have read tons of articles on the perfect
tag, but they don't often mention this.

So my titles, like most others follow this format:

Keyword 1 | Keyword 2 - Company

So say for example I am trying to rank for 'life insurance' and 'life insurance quote' for 'axa sunlife'.

It's my assumption that the title should be:

Life Insurance Quote - Axa Sunlife

rather than:

Life Insurance | Life Insurance Quote - Axa Sunlife

Am I right in thinking that putting it twice has no added value, and could in fact have an adverse effect?

Thanks,

Lewis.

Site structure for services and blog articles

Hi, looking for some advice on the structure for a relatively small site (around 200 pages). I'd like a structure where we can talk about our services as well as write blog articles on topics that relate to our services. We'll have loads more content in the blog area than in the services area. I was thinking of this: option 1: /services /services/copywriting
                    /services/social-media
/services/press-releases etc. and categories for articles where we'd give tips, talk about trends etc. /copywriting
                    /social-media
                    /effective-press-releases
etc. would it be better to have a different structure, say: option 2: /copywriting
                    /copywriting/services
                    /copywriting/articles OR option 3: /copywriting-services
                    /copywriting-blog OR option 4: /services/copywriting
/blog/copywriting OR is there another, better way perhaps? Of course the internal anchor text links to the services/blog articles pages will be tuned to try and make it clear what each section is about i.e. our services vs. industry trends/comments/tips for the blog.
