Is there a way in Moz to view a prospective ad source's traffic?

Increasing traffic from external sites requires a multi-faceted approach. Start by optimizing your website for search engines and ensuring it's user-friendly. Actively engage with relevant online communities, social media platforms, and forums where your target audience congregates. Create compelling, shareable content that encourages others to link back to your site. Collaborate with influencers or partner with complementary businesses to reach new audiences. Utilize email marketing campaigns and guest posting opportunities to drive traffic from external sources. Consistency, relevance, and value are essential in attracting and retaining traffic from external sites.

Is there a way in Moz to view a prospective ad source's traffic?

As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, Moz primarily focuses on providing tools and resources for search engine optimization (SEO) and content marketing. While Moz offers various features to help you analyze and optimize your website's performance, it may not directly provide information about a prospective ad source's traffic, us we had the same question in the past and cam across this info, hope will help you as it helped us !

Yes, In Moz, there are features and tools that can provide insights into a website's traffic, but directly viewing a prospective ad source's traffic is not a specific functionality within Moz. Moz primarily focuses on search engine optimization (SEO) and provides tools to analyze and improve organic search visibility.

Yes, Moz offers a feature called "Link Explorer" that can provide you with insights into a prospective ad source's traffic. Link Explorer is a comprehensive tool that allows you to analyze backlinks, discover new link opportunities, and gain valuable information about a website's domain authority and traffic.

To view a prospective ad source's traffic using Moz's Link Explorer, follow these steps:

Go to Moz's website at https://moz.com/ and sign in to your Moz account. If you don't have an account, you can create one for free.

Once you're signed in, navigate to the "Link Explorer" section of the website.

In the search bar, enter the URL of the prospective ad source's website and click on the "Analyze" button.

Link Explorer will provide you with various metrics and data about the website, including domain authority, backlinks, and traffic data.

To specifically view traffic data, look for the "Top Pages" section in the Link Explorer results. This section displays the pages on the website that receive the most traffic, along with other useful metrics such as page authority and linking domains.

By utilizing Moz's Link Explorer, you can gain valuable insights into a prospective ad source's traffic and assess its suitability for your advertising goals.

Solved Moz Link Explorer slow to find external links

link explorer crawl backlinks external links

I have a site with 48 linking domains and 200 total links showing in Google Search Console. These are legit and good quality links. Since creating a campaign 2 months ago, Moz link explorer for the same site only shows me 2 linking domains and 3 total links. I realise Moz cannot crawl with the same speed and depth as Google but this is poor performance for a premium product and doesn't remotely reflect the link profile of the domain. Is there a way to submit a sitemap or list of links to Moz for the purpose of crawling and adding to Link Explorer?

GA4 account & property not showing in traffic property setup list.

                        ga4 traffic campaign settings

Hi there, I've connected multiple client accounts to GA4 already, but three of our accounts that we have administrator rights to in GA4 are not showing up in our selectable accounts/properties list when logged in via Moz to add to the traffic settings area. Anyone else have this issue and find a fix?

Unsolved Problems connecting to different Google Analytics property

                        google analytics property traffic

I am having problems connecting to different Google Analytics property than the one I originally connected my campaign to. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting to the correct property however 'traffic data' shown is not updating and is still showing data from the original property that i connected to? Can anyone help explain how i can get the data showing in 'traffic' section to update to the current Analytics property that is connected to the campaign? Many thanks.

Unsolved I have a "click rate juice" question would like to know.

                        traffic canonical redirect

Hello I have a "click rate juice" question would like to know. For example. I created a noindex site for a few days event purposes. Using a random domain like this: event.example.com. Expecting 5000+ clicks per day. Is it possible to gain some traffic juice from this event website domain "example.com" to my other main site "main.com" but without exposing its URL. Thought about using 301 redirecting "example.com" to "main.com". But it will reveal the example-b.com to the general public if someone visits the domain "example.com". Also thought about using a canonical URL, but it would not be working because the event site is noindex. or it would not matter at all 🤔 Wondering if there is a thing like this to gain some traffic juice for another domain? Thanks

GA traffic locations must be wrong? Most hits from a state we don't do business in!

                        traffic bounce

I launched a website earlier this year. Very limited traffic, 200-300 a month. It is an info site for a specialized business. However, when I review my GA traffic reports, 20% of our traffic comes from one city in Virginia. (although the company does business in many states, it does not in Virginia) or anything close. The bounce rate is 97%! Could it be a web scraper or some kind of redirect?

Blog article cannibalizes our home page

                        blog post rankings keywords traffic

Hello there, We're having a rather big SEO issue that I’m hoping someone here can help us with, perhaps having experienced the same thing or simply understanding what's going on. Since around June, our website's home page has lost the majority of its most important rankings. Not just dropping, but losing them entirely and all at once. We think it was self-inflicted: Almost at the same time, a blog article of ours (which we had recently updated) started ranking for almost all the same keywords. While our home page is a commercial page highlighting only our own product, the article that usurped the position is a comparison article, comparing our own solution to competitors. The reason we created that article is because we noticed a trend of Google increasingly favoring such comparison articles over dedicated product pages. But of course we didn’t plan to cannibalize our own home page with it. My question is whether anyone has experience with such a case? Is there a way to "tell"/influence Google to rank our home page again, instead of ranking that article? Thanks a lot, Pascal

50% Drop in ALL Traffic Post June Update

                        traffic direct traffic analytics

We've had 50% drop in Google and Direct traffic post June Google update. Why would direct suddenly plummet as well? Could it be something with Google tag manager or our new cookie policy and cookie management system? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am a disabled person and trying to figure out what is going on with our site

Does sending ecom traffic away from a site impact rankings?

traffic onpage ranking factors downstream traffic

I have a client that represents a few big brands but doesn't offer ecommerce capability onsite, they essentially send traffic to retailers and distributors that do sell their products online - they even point to an amazon store that they own. My question is, if they did offer ecom and the conversions took place on their site, rather than direct traffic away from them, would this impact on their rankings at all?
